Keep Your Dog and Cat Away From The Halloween Treats

CAT HALLOWEENIt’s candy…so much candy that you don’t know what to do with it all. You’ve just come back from trick or treating with your kids and now it’s time to sort through all of that candy. Make sure you are careful and don’t let any of it fall on the floor and don’t leave any of it out within reach of your dog or cat. Hard candy is harmful depending on the ingredients .Xylitol is a common sweetener used instead of sugar and is highly poisonous, causing kidney failure in dogs .

Chocolate is very dangerous to both dogs and cats. It contains both caffeine and theobromine. Both of these drugs can be toxic to a cat.

These drugs are two different types of stimulants that affect the central nervous system and the heart muscle, as well as increasing the frequency of urination

Keep your pets safe this Halloween!

Remember, your pets count!
